REGA

Each stage is designed and engineered to maximise the potential of your vinyl system whilst remaining easy to use and set up.

  • ARIA MK3 MM/MC
  • Housed within our latest half width custom designed case to give it a fresh new look and match the range are two entirely separate, high performance phono stages. One fully adjustable, dedicated moving coil and one moving magnet. Each stage is designed and engineered to maximise the potential of your vinyl system whilst remaining easy to use and set up
  • The Aria is an “all analogue amplifier” with no digital control circuitry. The fully aluminium case screens the internal circuit from any stray RFI signals. Our designers have avoided including any superfluous gadgets as they obstruct the signal path and degrade the sound quality. The Aria incorporates many innovative design ideas including a self-adjusting servo control to keep the MC input circuit at its optimum, compensating for any variations in ambient or operating temperature.
  • Both stages have their own separate input sockets and input pre-amplifier circuitry. This enabled us to design bespoke input circuitry for each cartridge type without compromise. Signal switching is performed at high level and low impedance (via relays) ensuring there is no degradation of the signal
  • KEY FEATURES
  • High performance switchable MC & MM stage
  • Fully adjustable MC stage
  • MC input uses parallel connected low noise FET's
  • MM input uses low noise bipolar transistors
  • Custom designed case
  • All analogue amplifier
  • Bespoke input circuitry for MM & MC
  • Lifetime warranty against manufacture defects
  • MM Stage design & features
  • The MM input uses low noise, bipolar input transistors also configured as a compound pair. There are two separate power supplies for each channel and further sub-power supplies for each of the low noise input circuits. Nichicon FG electrolytic capacitors have been used in critical positions throughout the power supplies. Polypropylene capacitors have been used in the signal path and equalization networks. Discrete circuitry is used throughout the signal path ensuring full control of the circuit design.
  • MC Stage Design & Features
The MC input uses parallel connected, low noise FETs (Field Effect Transistors) configured as a compound pair. The use of FET transistors ensures there is no bias current flowing in the cartridge coil so as not to upset the delicate magnetic geometry of the cartridge. The MC input has the provision for selecting resistive input loading of 70 Ω to 400 Ω and capacitive loading of 1000 pF to 4200 pF. The input sensitivity can be changed by 6 dB via the back panel.

About In-Store only, or click and collect products....

  • Different suppliers and manufacturers have individual and differing policies regarding shipping on some or all of their products, some will require that you physically come in to the store, to get the benefit of advice and demonstration and, in addition, some items require professional installation and/or setup as part of our dealer agreement. This also ensures that you get the very best performance from your investment.

Although not all our items are available as direct 'add to basket' we can often arrange to deliver the items and install the equipment ourselves.

There is usually a charge for these services so please contact us first and we can discuss any queries and options with you.

If in any doubt give us a call or pop in and we can discuss the best and most convenient way to make your purchase, we are here to help!

  • We do indeed stock many of the items featured on our website, but due to the large range of equipment we offer and the variety of finishes and options on some products it would be impractical to stock all products in all finishes. Some products will be special order, and stock levels rise and fall on popular items, so if you are coming in to see a particular item please contact us first to check we have it available. A few brands are mail order only and we do not generally have them on display in the showroom. The showroom is well stocked and the items on display for demonstration change regularly.
  • Yes, we are located on a mixed residential and commercial street and there is reasonably priced pay and display parking both outside and in the surrounding streets. It is free after 5.30pm if you want to check our the local restaurants in the evening to celebrate your purchases!
  • If you know exactly what you want - that's great, we can provide. However - many of our customers find that a product demonstration and comparison has helped them make the correct decision for them. You can ask any questions and listen in a relaxed, no pressure environment before you purchase- We have 30 years of experience in making customers happy and we may be able to suggest something you might not have considered. We know how careful component matching can make the difference between a system you can listen to or really enjoy for many years! Just give us a call in advance so we can give you our full attention.
