Celebrating the lineage of the iconic MC A90, the MC 90X is a reimagining of a classic, combining precision engineering with advancements in material science and magnetism. Designed to bring out the depth and detail in every record, this limited-edition cartridge builds on Ortofon’s expertise in analogue sound reproduction while introducing improved rubber dampers and a striking new blue finish.

  • Though it features common Exclusive Series technologies, such as Ortofon's Wide Range Damping system and the industry-leading Replicant 100 diamond stylus, the MC 90X is unique because it uses SLM technology with stainless-steel, rather than titanium, for its main body structure.
  • We have the cartridge on order now, and expect to ship out during mid-March. We also plan to present the cartridge for the first time at next month's Audio Show Deluxe.
